Increase the percentage of those who prefer rent in Spain
This year there has been an increase of 5.2% of Spaniards who live on rent compared to 2012, which means that housing rent represents 22.2% of the total, according to the data offered by Julio Gómez-Pomar , Secretary of the State of Housing.
The data indicate a change of mentality in the concept of current housing. Those known as millenials, the generation of those born in the early 80’s and until the late 90’s, prefer rent to be more geographically mobile related to the frequency of job change due to current job instability.
