75th Amat Immobilaris Anniversary
Thank you very much to all attendees, friends, colleagues and partners, for sharing and celebrating the 75th Amat Immobiliaris Anniversary with us and being part of our history.
On Wednesday, May 3rd, we celebrated the 75th anniversary of Amat Immobiliaris at the Oriol Martorell Hall, l’Auditori, Barcelona. An act dedicated to honouring, visiting and valuing the company’s past, as well as recognizing the importance of family, women, culture, and society as essential pillars of the company. It was an elegant, emotional and humorous event, attended by almost 600 people, including clients, businessmen, industry colleagues, political officials, family, and friends.
Antoni Bassas, presenter of the act, welcomed all the guests, and the OMAC orchestra, in charge of putting the soundtrack to this celebration. The event began with an emotional video that reviewed thought images, interviews and interventions, the Amat history. During the video, the very honourable former president of the Generalitat Jordi Pujol, José Montilla and Artur Mas, recalled their experiences with Amat and reflected in how during these 75 years, Amat has worked for the company, culture, and society.
The company values were reflected in the interviews conducted by Antoni Bassas, which included the participation of Asun Rodriguez and Aria Abad, both Amat employees for over three decades, who shared their experiences as women, workers, and mothers. Their respective children, Dani Ribera and Andrea Pérez, are now part of the Amat team, and they also told us about their experience.
The endearing Pilarín Bayés reviewed the company’s past during her interview, commenting on the “auca“, a pictorial story typical of Catalan culture, that she has drawn to commemorate this 75th anniversary.
The humorous tone of the act was set by Judit Martin, who explained “The 5 golden rules” for renting/buying in the current social and economic context.
The honorable former president Joaquim Torra, in video, emphasized the importance of business, culture and society, essential pillars of Amat. Jordi Cuixart, in person, and Òscar Camps, on video, reflected during the event on the importance of these values. The very honourable former president Carles Puigdemont, also on video, closed this section by talking about the important role of companies in creating economic activity and wealth.
Toward the end of the event, two generations of clients were recognized as well as the economics professor Oriol Amat, regular speaker at events organized by Amat, accompanied by his friend and professor Andreu Mas – Colell. Joana Amat, Inmaculada Amat and Guifré Homedes, director of Amat Immobiliaris, made their individual final speeches which thank the guest, remembered those who are no longer here, and talked about the future. The event was closed by the very honourable President de la Generalitat Pere Aragonès who congratulated the company and highlighted the importance of asserting the continuity of business projects.
We want, once again, to thank the entire Amat team that made our 75th anniversary celebration possible. Special thanks to the Auditorium and the OMAC Orchestra, which complemented the entire cultural part of the event.
